James Alan GrahamJim was born and raised in Richmond Hill, Ontario.He attended Yale University and graduated in 1979 receiving his B.A. (Hon.) in Economics gradus delatus cum laude. While attending Yale University, he was a member of the collegiate ice hockey, cross-country running and lightweight rowing teams. He was also the inaugural coach of the Yale women's ice hockey team. Following graduation, Jim attended Dalhousie Law School in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He received his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) in 1983 with several individual academic awards in the area of maritime law. Jim moved to British in 1983. He completed his articles with the law firm of Harper, Grey Easton & Company in Vancouver. He was admitted to the Bar of British Columbia in 1984, He remained an associate and, later became a partner with Harper, Grey Easton until 1993 during which time his legal practice was exclusively in the field of civil litigation and, primarily, motor vehicle accident claims and life/disability insurance claims. Jim moved to the Campbell River vicinity in 1993 where, he and his partner, Steve Frame, he formed Graham & Frame, a law firm providing exclusive civil litigation services primarily involving motor vehicle accident claims and life/disability insurance claims for clients throughout the province of British Columbia. Jim has appeared as counsel before all levels of Courts in British Columbia as well as before the Supreme Court of Canada. Jim presently resides with his wife, Lynn, and their terriers on Quadra Island. |
Stephen Paul FrameSteve was born and raised in Burns Lake, which is a small community in northern British Columbia. He attended Simon Fraser University and graduated in 1984, receiving his B.A. in criminology. While at S.F.U. he actively worked with probation services, volunteering time with young offenders both in and out of correctional institutions. Steve attended the University of Victoria Law School. He received his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) in 1987. He completed his Articles with the law firm of Harper Grey Easton and Company in Vancouver and was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 1988. While at Harper Grey Easton and Company, he developed a practice acting for innocent victims injured in various types of accidents and incidents. Steve moved to Campbell River in 1993 opening the firm of Graham & Frame with his partner, Jim. Graham & Frame deals exclusively with civil litigation and is primarily focused on motor vehicle accident claims. For the last ten years, Steve has acted on behalf of thousands of injured people to ensure that they receive maximum compensation for their pain and suffering, wage loss, medical expenses and care costs. His practice deals with auto accidents, motorcycle claims, plane crashes, as well as wrongful death claims brought on by family members who have lost loved ones. Steve has acted for clients with claims for brain damage, fibromyalgia, spinal cord injuries, fractures, soft tissue injuries, and other severe injuries. Steve acts for clients all over British Columbia, and has conducted trials all around the Province. He has appeared as counsel at all levels of Courts with B.C. including the Provincial Court, the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the Court of Appeal. Steve is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association and the British Columbia Trial Lawyers Association.He is also on the Board of Governors of the British Columbia Trial Lawyers Association. He sits as a director on the Campbell River Loss Prevention Association and was the Campbell River Bar Association president for two years, 1995/96 and 1996/97. Steve is married and has two young children. In his spare time he enjoys fishing, skiing, playing hockey, motorcycling, boating and winemaking.
